About

A workshop, in the open

A bit about the project, the person behind it, and what you'll find here.

Welcome to WIJACC — a personal playground for web development experiments and tools. This project consolidates various tools and experiments into a single, cohesive platform.

Who am I?

I'm a web developer who likes to explore new technologies and create useful tools. With a background in full-stack development, I enjoy building everything from simple utilities to complex web applications.

What is WIJACC?

WIJACC started as a joke with friends. It stands for "Wasn't it just a cargo cult?" — a place to experiment with web technologies and share useful tools. It's both a portfolio and a collection of resources others might find helpful.

And for the record, it's pronounced "yee haw".

What you'll find here

  • Tools: Utilities designed to help in some way.
  • Code experiments: Interesting projects exploring new technologies.
  • Blog posts: Thoughts and tutorials on development topics.
  • Forum: A textboard-style discussion space for visitors.
  • Wiki: Reference notes that grow over time.

Technologies used

This site is a full-stack web application built with Django, Tailwind CSS, and a healthy disregard for over-engineering. Additional apps employ their own functionality and can be explored in their respective sections.
